Matsuo Mine

This copper mine was once owned Hidden Metal when they had conquered North Land of Storms. When the Hidden Thunder overthrew the occupation, the mine was already dwindling, and was soon after abandoned. The once state-of-the-art facilities and living complexes still stand, albeit crumbling. The ever-present fog hides the mountain town from prying eyes.

The hills are terraced for rice farming, making it look as though the hills were steps. During spring, when the rice paddies are flooded, a spectacular, sparkling view awaits you. The local farmers are friendly, and some regularly employ genin to help in the fields.
